OARS High School Program Overview - Orlando Area Rowing Society
OARS rowers not only achieve success in competitions but also form lasting friendships and learn valuable life lessons. Training includes a variety of methods such as running, ergometer (rowing machine) sessions, strength and conditioning exercises, and, naturally, time in a shell on the water.

OARS 8th Grade Competitive Program - Orlando Area Rowing Society
The 8th grade program is designed to be a bridge from middle school to high school rowing. Rowers will be developing their rowing knowledge base and work together to develop a solid team culture. 8th grade strength & conditioning will focus on functional movement & individual development.

OARS Middle School Program - Orlando Area Rowing Society
The Middle School Program at OARS is an introduction into the competitive sport of rowing. Students in grades 6-8 are invited to be part of our middle school team to learn the basic technique, fitness & teamwork of rowing.

What to Expect at Head of the Hooch
The orange oar is basically the finish line. The grassy area behind that is where the team tents are. When the rowers aren't racing, they can choose to walk around in groups and check out the different tents.
