Learn To Row is a great chance for High School and Middle School boys and girls to try the sport of rowing for the first time. The aim of Learn to Row is to get rowers on the water as soon as possible.They will learn about safety, both on and off the water, be able to identify boats and equipment, and most importantly learn good rowing technique all while having fun on the water.

Summer day camps and learn-to-row weekends help OARS reach out to the community both to satisfy and foster local interest in rowing. Sculling lessons are offered at OARS for individuals who would like to learn how to row or fine-tune their current skill set. New rowers will learn all the basics from carrying boats to taking your first strokes.
